Aging is a top priority area for USF. Our extensive research, educational, and
service programs devoted to aging are based in both Academic Affairs and the USF Health.
Over 160 USF faculty members conduct research on aging, including basic science,
social and behavioral science, clinical research, and public policy analysis.
Aging research at USF is interdisciplinary, with investigators from diverse disciplines
collaborating on studies that cross traditional academic boundaries. In addition,
USF researchers partner with community agencies to insure that research findings
have impact on community well-being and concerns.
